DESCRIPTION:Take part in our Online adaptive yoga classes! \nAbout this Event \nPVA is happy to be offering FREE adaptive yoga classes. The classes will be held over Zoom conferencing Monday\, Wednesday\, now Saturday at 11:00 AM EST. Class is inclusive and open to anyone interested! \nClass Description- \nThis progressive yoga series is designed as an introduction to yoga. Class is slow paced\, with a focus on deep breathing and tuning into how your body feels. Learn foundational poses with proper form and safe alignment. Come to relax\, learn\, and play in a supportive environment. All bodies are welcome. \nAbout the Instructor- \nAudrey’s love for yoga began as a child regularly accompanying her Mother to yoga class. Her yoga practice naturally blended into her other passions; dance\, gymnastics\, and fitness. Audrey integrates yoga principles of mindfulness and deep breathing into her coaching\, group exercise\, and personal training sessions to help participants be more focused and relax more deeply. She has her 200 hour yoga certification from the In-Body Academy\, specializing in restorative yoga and yoga for skiers. Audrey’s mission is to inspire people to take better care of themselves body\, mind\, and spirit. When Audrey is not moving through a yoga flow\, she is playing in the mountains\, creating plant-based recipes\, teaching cooking classes\, and coaching outdoor athletes. \nDisclaimer: It is extremely important that you are healthy enough to participate in this program. If you are not\, you could risk serious injury to yourself or worse. We encourage you to consult with your doctor to determine whether it is safe for you to engage in this activity.
