SUMMARY:Ice Skating by Northeast Passage
DESCRIPTION:Ice Skating by Northeast Passage\nStep back in time\, and visit us for outdoor Ice Skating at the picturesque Puddle Dock Pond. \nFree admission for individuals with disabilities and one care provider (if applicable). \nFigure and Hockey Skate rentals available onsite for $6.00 (up to size 13).  NEP provides a limited selection of adaptive ice sleds available for shared use amongst interested individuals–all equipment will be sanitized between uses. \nAccessible indoor restrooms available onsite. \nNEP staff will be available to provide moderate assistance with transfers in and out of adaptive equipment\, and on/off the ice.  If you anticipate needing more than moderate assistance\, please contact NEP to discuss your needs\, or bring a companion with you to assist. \nNEP is not able to provide pushers for skaters needing assistance on the ice.  Please\, provide your own pusher–pushers MUST wear ice skates while on the ice. If you have questions about this\, please contact us! \nParticipants are required to wear a face mask at all times\, per rink policy. If you do not have a mask\, NEP can provide one. DESCRIPTION:Veteran Indoor Archery by Northeast Passage\nThis event is provided for Veterans only. \nAll skill levels are welcome!  Instruction and equipment will be provided by NEP and range coaches who are all USA Archery Certified Instructors. \nWe are limited to smaller groups\, so please\, pre-register for each event and cancel if you cannot make it. \nWe strongly recommend bringing your own equipment as NEP equipment will be limited to single person use.  **If you anticipate using one of our DrawLock bows\, please state that in your registration as we are limiting two DrawLock archers per event.** \nParticipants are required to wear a face mask–if you do not have a mask\, NEP can provide one. \nFunding for this program was awarded to Northeast Passage through a grant from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

SUMMARY:Indoor Archery Clinic by Gaylord Sports Association
DESCRIPTION:Indoor Archery Clinic by Gaylord Sports Association\nCome and try this sport of skill and accuracy by registering for one of our Archery Clinics! Clinics are designed for individuals with a physical disability or visual impairment to learn about and participate in the sport of archery. Participants will receive instruction from a level IV Certified USA Archery Coach as well as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist to give the best possible instruction and support independence. Both beginners and advanced archers are welcome and all equipment is provided. \nThis clinic is located indoors at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare\, Roncari Recreation Hall in Wallingford\, CT.  Participants may register for the first session from 1:00-2:00pm or the second session from 2:30-3:30pm(*This session will be available once the first session fills).  COVID precautions will be utilized for social distancing and infection control; Participants and instructors will be required to wear masks.  Maximum number of participants per session is 4.  Pre-registration is required.  Call 203-284-2772 or email sports@gaylord.org to register. \nAbout Gaylord Sports Association\nThe Sports Association is a program of Gaylord Specialty Healthcare and is based out of Wallingford\, CT. Each week will start with a drawing tutorial and be followed by open drawing time to practice\, share\, ask advice\, you name it! All you need is something to draw with\, a piece of paper\, and a willingness to learn! Participation in both sessions of a group is encouraged\, but not required. \nLearn to Draw (Group 1) \nSession 1 will focus on sketches and quicker cartoon drawings with a fun and relaxed atmosphere. All you need is something to draw with and something to draw on! Pencil\, pen\, marker\, paper\, whiteboard\, digital… They will all work great!
