DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED: Winter Sports Clinic 2021 – Snowmass Village\, CO\nA world leader in rehabilitation\, the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic provides nearly 400 profoundly disabled Veterans with training and rehabilitation every year. Veterans with TBIs\, spinal cord injuries\, visual impairments\, amputations and other severe disabilities are challenged to overcome perceived limitations through adaptive skiing\, sled hockey\, scuba diving\, rock wall climbing\, education and other activities. \nThe five-day event is sponsored by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and DAV (Disabled American Veterans)\, with financial assistance from corporate sponsors and individual donors. \nHeld in Snowmass (near Aspen)\, Colorado\, participants experience: \n\nAlpine and Nordic Skiing\nCross Country Skiing\nSled Hockey\nScuba Diving\nRock Wall Climbing\nFly Fishing\nCurling\nSnowmobiling\nArchery\n\nAs we gear up for the 2021 National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic\, we all must be mindful of the uncertainties we face with COVID-19 today. We are committed to providing a safe environment for the event scheduled for March 28 – April 2\, 2021 in Snowmass Village\, CO. We will continue to modify the way we conduct business to adhere to all health and safety guidelines\, as well as keeping everyone informed as we move through our planning for the 2021 National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic.
