DESCRIPTION:Veteran *Virtual Needle Felting by Northeast Passage\nThis event is provided for Veterans only. \nJoin us to create your own winter-themed scene!  We’ll be using felt\, colorful tufts of wool\, and needles instead of paintbrushes to create your art.  Researchers have been able to show a connection between doing things with our hands and the neurochemistry of our brains linked to happiness. \nNo experience necessary.  Tools and materials will be shipped to you prior to the date of this event.  Check out this video to learn more about it! \nTo receive your materials in time\, you must register by January 18th.  These materials will be yours to keep! \nZoom link will be included in your registration confirmation. \nThis event is part of a Veteran Wellness Series that is sponsored by Operation Hat Trick.

SUMMARY:Winter Cycling by Northeast Passage
DESCRIPTION:Winter Cycling by Northeast Passage\nCome join Northeast Passage for a “Socially Distant” afternoon ride on the Rockingham Rail Trail and FOMBA trails.  Bring your own cycle or use one of ours and ride the wooded trail!  Option to ride around fire roads as well. NEP will provide cycles\, and assistance with fitting you to your cycle. Ride as much as you want in the time given. Terrain is relatively flat (rail trail) to moderate\, if you choose. \nWe are limited to smaller groups\, so please\, pre-register for each event and cancel if you cannot make it. \nHelmets are required for all cycling events. We are asking that you provide your own helmet. If you do not have one and will not be able to get one\, we will have a limited number of helmets available at an additional fee. \nParticipants are required to wear a face mask\, except during physical exertion with appropriate distancing–if you do not have a mask\, NEP can provide one. \nVeteran registration fees for this program are waived due to a grant from the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.

DESCRIPTION:Hooksett Trail Walk by Northeast Passage\nCome join NEP to explore the Hooksett area along the Merrimack River.  This is a great beginner trail\, as it is flat and relatively short.  This trail follows the Merrimack River for about 2 miles out and back.  The trail is wide enough to allow social distancing and just long enough to get some good exercise in.  If you are interested in using adaptive equipment from NEP to participate in this event\, we will provide equipment at the one day rental rate ($30).\nIf you have any questions\, please reach and ask. \nParticipants are required to wear a face mask–if you do not have a mask\, NEP can provide one.

Each week will start with a drawing tutorial and be followed by open drawing time to practice\, share\, ask advice\, you name it! All you need is something to draw with\, a piece of paper\, and a willingness to learn! Participation in both sessions of a group is encouraged\, but not required. \nLearn to Draw (Group 1) \nSession 1 will focus on sketches and quicker cartoon drawings with a fun and relaxed atmosphere. All you need is something to draw with and something to draw on! Pencil\, pen\, marker\, paper\, whiteboard\, digital… They will all work great!

DESCRIPTION:Ice Skating by Northeast Passage\nStep back in time\, and visit us for outdoor Ice Skating at the picturesque Puddle Dock Pond. \nFree admission for individuals with disabilities and one care provider (if applicable). \nFigure and Hockey Skate rentals available onsite for $6.00 (up to size 13).  NEP provides a limited selection of adaptive ice sleds available for shared use amongst interested individuals–all equipment will be sanitized between uses. \nAccessible indoor restrooms available onsite. \nNEP staff will be available to provide moderate assistance with transfers in and out of adaptive equipment\, and on/off the ice.  If you anticipate needing more than moderate assistance\, please contact NEP to discuss your needs\, or bring a companion with you to assist. \nNEP is not able to provide pushers for skaters needing assistance on the ice.  Please\, provide your own pusher–pushers MUST wear ice skates while on the ice. If you have questions about this\, please contact us! \nParticipants are required to wear a face mask at all times\, per rink policy. If you do not have a mask\, NEP can provide one.
