The Chapter highly encourages sports and recreation and thus, provides financial support to numerous organizations throughout New England focused on enabling adaptive activities of all types for disabled veterans. New England PVA provides sponsorship and support for the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, the New England Winter Sports Clinic, Veterans Golden Age Games, as well as, hosting local air rifle and Boccia competitions. The Chapter also helps to fund individual member’s activities to assist in enriching their lives through its Individual Allotment program. The New England Chapter of PVA continues to work toward developing other sports and recreational activities that will enhance the quality of life for our members and others with disabilities.
